Being a popular seaside town, Ostend has a huge choice when it comes to accommodation, with the summer months always being a busy time. Winters in Ostend are extremely quiet and due to this, a number of hotels choose to close completely between December and March each year.
Hotels in Ostend are usually never far from the sea, with lodging being close to the beachfront Albert Promenade and the Old Harbour, which is near to the train station. Accommodation in the town centre often stands next Leopold Park, the Groentenmarkt, the Marie Joseplein and the Visserskaai.
Some of the recommended accommodation includes the Hotel Pacific, which is only 50 yards from the beach; the Hotel Louisa, a pleasant family hotel in art-deco style; and the Royal Astor Hotel, situated near the beach and adjacent to the prestigious Casino of Ostend. Alternatively the city and the surrounding area has several excellent guest houses and bed and breakfasts on offer. Enet Bed and Breakfast is a good option for budget minded travelers as the establishment offers reasonable rates while facilities are sufficient.
Royal Astor is situated in the heart of Ostend, only a few steps away from the beach and the famous Casino, and only a fifteen minutes drive from the charming canals of Bruges.
